If it’s not working shift something.
Sometimes we think we’ve got a solid plan to handle a situation. We likely feel good and in control. And sometimes that plan simply doesn’t work.
We may feel inclined to just persist with our strategy. After all, we figured it out carefully. Perhaps if we just try it again, it will work the second time. However, it’s likely the result won’t be any different.
If we continue to stick with our plan, we will become increasingly frustrated. And things will continue not to work out as desired.
This is when we need to step back and reassess. When we can calmly review, another solution will likely present itself. It’s certainly worth trying if what we’ve previously attempted has failed.
Today’s message invites me to shift my thinking. A fresh approach should reduce frustration and increase success.
Please reflect and share. What plan of yours might need to shift?
