Harmony is first reached internally.
Please discuss. How does this play out in life?
I’ll start us out. Looking at our society, there a ample examples of discord—the political divide, the election results, social injustice, differing stances on how to handle COVID and safety precautions are but a few. Most of us have fairly firm opinions on these issues, which may or may not jibe with those of folks around us. Conflict, even friendly disagreement, seems inevitable. Finding accord on these topics seems nearly impossible.
As with any problem facing us, we often will want to first begin within. There are likely aspects of projection involved in our perception of the issues. When we identify, address, and reconcile any disharmony, any discordant parts of ourselves, we will find less conflict around us and may find that conflict easier to resolve.
Today’s message invites me to explore within, looking to find and resolve any inner conflict. When I am fractured inside, I cannot reflect peace, acceptance, and inclusion to the world outside of me. I’m a microcosm of creation. In unifying myself, I shift my perception of existence and contribute to its essential harmony. The oneness inside me aligns with the oneness around me.
How about you? How do you promote harmony in and around you?
