Take stock.
It’s all over the news. DOGE is overlooking government spending and resource deployment, looking for inefficiency and waste. We may applaud their efforts, or we may oppose them. But we’re certainly aware that dissatisfaction with government is prevalent.
This time period represents an opportunity to take stock of our own lives. Are things generally working as we might hope they would? What’s going well and what isn’t?
How are we spending our time and resources? Do these expenditures support our goals and dreams? Where might we lessen our focus and commitment and where might we increase it?
Today’s message invites me to evaluate how changes to my normal ways of being and doing might help me be more joyful and sound. It’s time to put my attention, emotions, focus, and personal resources in service of my happiness and best life.
