Healthy does as healthy is

We all experience dysfunction in and around us. We may feel conflicted inside ourselves, be at odds with others, or have others treat us in uncomfortable ways.

It’s unpleasant, especially if we feel powerless to keep in it check. How do we handle ourselves and situations better? After all, dysfunction isn’t fun.

The best way to live in healthy circumstances and interactions is to be healthy ourselves. When we’re stable and balanced emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually, we attract a vibe similar to our own. We also have the strength and mojo to avert dysfunctional scenarios.

We can start with basic steps. 1. Get enough rest and physical activity. 2. Eat and drink healthy items and quantities. 3. Own our emotions and behaviors. If we don’t like what’s going on in and around us, we can change our own patterns and reactions. We also can get professional help if we feel we need it. 4. Stay positive and hopeful and focus our thoughts, words, beliefs, and actions on what we want. 5. Cultivate a regular spiritual practice—meditation, prayer, mindfulness, etc.

Today’s message reminds me that when I take care of my health on all levels, I create a healthy life for myself. My own health attracts and grounds in healthy circumstances.
