Vision guides our lives

Sometimes we wonder how our lives turned out the way they did. How did we end up living where we are, in or out of a relationship, with or without children, working at the job we have?

Life may or may not be the way we imagined the details would be. If we practice visualization, we may have developed our ability manifest with our thoughts. So, we may have manifested a new car, a promotion at work, or other details.

But what about the really big picture items like happiness and health? What generates the way they happen for us?

Again, it’s visualization. But it may be unconscious visualization. Whether or not we’re aware of it, we attract circumstances and things in life based on our beliefs and thoughts.

With larger themes, our thoughts and beliefs about who we are and how life works strongly influence how things play out. If we think we’re unworthy or unlucky we’ll attract events that support our belief. Lack of confidence in our abilities can cause us to behave ineptly.

A belief that life is essentially hard and unfair will lead us to struggle more. When we think the world is against us, we tend to attract that dynamic.

The good news is that we also can leverage our thoughts and beliefs to attract more of what would make us happy—big picture and smaller details—by consciously curating what we believe and think. When we focus our mojo on what we want rather than what we don’t want, we’re more likely to be pleased.

Today’s message reminds me that my vision of myself and my life is a major factor in how my life plays out. Holding a clear vision of a good life for myself helps me create it.

Please reflect and share. What is your essential vision of yourself and your life?
