Make your own magic.

Some days life can seem so humdrum. We have our routines. We follow them. And we start all over again the next day.

It might leave us wondering why we’re doing what we’re doing. At low ebbs in our mood, we might question the point of it all.

And yes, there is a point to it all. We are here to love, to be love. That implies loving ourselves, loving all life forms, loving our environment, loving the experience of being alive.

When we love ourselves and love being alive, we want to make the best of every moment. We want to squeeze all the joy we can out of the day.

We can do that best when we not only appreciate what is but also curate our happiness by bringing positive, loving attitude and choices for enjoyment.

So yes, we do the necessary each day. But we also squeeze in adequate amounts of beauty and fun, even in small doses. A great cup of coffee, favorite music, a quick phone call to a friend, sharing a joke, taking five minutes to sing and/or dance like a maniac—all of these are great ways to inject magic into an average day.

Today’s message reminds me I’m responsible for the magic quotient in my life. When I elect to create my own magic regularly, I will be living a magical life.

Please reflect and share. What magic might you incite right now?
