What we think is isn’t.
We experience life based on our perceptions. Our take on things, spun out of what we believe, think, and feel, colors how we receive life.
This means my idea of what is going on in any given situation will differ from your idea of what’s happening. And any one person’s concept of reality is flawed and incomplete. We all suffer from limited and selective perception.
We can attempt to elevate our consciousness, to help us perceive more clearly. But it’s important to realize that we live in our own singular version of reality.
Today’s message reminds me not to take what I think about life too seriously. After all, it’s a story I’ve made up, based on thoughts, beliefs, and emotions. I could just as easily tell myself a different story.
Please reflect and share. How much do you have invested in your take on life?
