Help is a two-way street.

Many of us who are metaphysically inclined feel a call to be of service. Others of us who have differing skills and talents also may wish to use them to help others. We feel good and useful when we can assist.

And this is wonderful. Giving of ourselves allows us to share life’s bounty.

However, many of us struggle with receiving. We may not want to cede any control of our lives or may feel uncomfortable about letting others help us. When we are reluctant to receive, we limit others’ ability to give. In not being willing to take from other folks, we take the opportunity of benevolence from them.

Today’s message reminds me that in accepting help I also offer others a gift. Creation is all about flow, and strong relationships are built on that principle.

Please reflect and share. Are you comfortable taking help from others?
