Nature mandates both flow and balance.
Please reflect and share. How does this play out for you?
Ideally, most of us would like a comfortable, steady state in life. We’d enjoy having life shape itself as we wish around us and then stay that way. This never really happens but we don’t stop hoping it will.
Stasis is the antithesis of Creations, which requires change to be fresh and inventive. Life is innately curious and seeks new and different experiences. When we attempt to stay stagnant, we’re denying an essential principle of life—flow.
Creation also tends to balance itself out. The mechanism can be subtle (slow erosion) or dramatic (extreme climate change). But opposing forces merge and differences dissipate over time, only to be succeeded by new conflicts. We may forget that things even themselves out gradually, but the process remains a fundamental truth.
Today’s message invites me to be as patient as Creation is. If a situation shifts from comfortable to uncomfortable, it is certain to continue to change. If some aspect of my life feels out of balance, it will rectify itself in time. When I trust in life’s processes of flow and balance rather than resisting them, it is easier for me to cooperate with them.
How about you? How do you feel about flow and balance?
