Comfort comes from within.
Please reflect and share. How does this play out for you?
Struggling is part of being human. At times we’re sad, disillusioned, exhausted and/or grief-stricken. We can have a hard time coping and may look outside ourselves for something or someone to help us feel better.
Activities may distract us and kind words or hugs may give us temporary alleviation, but we still have to live with the troubling situation. Short-term panaceas can give us respite but don’t help us cope longer-term.
In order to live ongoing with the scenario, we must learn to relate to it differently. Introspection and divine connection can bring us longer-lasting comfort by providing alternate viewpoints and broader context to the situation.
Today’s message invites me to go inside when I feel the need of comfort and stability. My integration in the collective divine offers me a larger perspective as well as conscious connection with the source of eternal love. Creation comforts me from the inside.
How about you? What is your best source of comfort?
