Primarily we think of ourselves as apart from the rest of life.
Please discuss. How does this play out in life?
I’ll start us out. We often think of life as something that goes on around us, independent of us. Other beings seem to have their own paths, which sometimes intersect ours. Events appear to formulate themselves, sometimes pulling us into their orbit.
In this view we’re observers of life, or at best active participants. We can see that all of creation influences us, but may not recognize that we affect it.
In shared divine consciousness, every aspect of creation is interconnected. Everyone and everything is part of a web of consciousness. Nothing is excluded or separate. Any thought, emotion, or action by any part impact the whole, so we are all co-creators.
Today’s message invites me to ponder what I wish to create for myself and what I am contributing—in every moment of my life—to the divine whole. Everything I say, so, think, or feel ripples throughout creation. Every second I am alive is an opportunity to shape the world in which I wish to live
