Some of us practice the art of visualization. We hold strong images and thoughts of things or scenarios we’d like to manifest. We may daily imagery sessions, make vision boards, or repeat affirmations.

We’ve likely seen some good results from regular attention to this practice. When we focus on what we desire, it’s easier for it to manifest in our lives.

It’s like eating in a restaurant. Visualizing is placing an order for what you want to eat. Otherwise, we’re likely to get whatever the chef decides to cook up for us.

In our visualization, however, we may be afraid to be bold. We may lack confidence in our ability to manifest, so may aim low. Or we may not wish to appear greedy, so we may visualize only what we believe we need.

Manifesting is a very direct process. If we hold a clear vision of what we desire, it comes to us more readily. Conversely, if we focus through fear and worry on what we don’t want, that too will find its way to us more easily.

Either way, there is no value judgment in the process. We simply are more likely to experience things we think about and imagine frequently or with strong emotional focus.

So, it behooves us to dream a bit big. The mechanism for visualizing a grand dream is the same as for a small one.

Of course, we need to back our visualizing with positive actions toward our goal, but there’s every reason to make it a really good one.

Today’s message advises me not to short myself when I visualize. I can successfully manifest larger goals as well as lesser ones.

Please reflect and share. Do you dare to dream big?
