Blessed
There are days when we feel lucky. Life goes the way we’d like it to. Good things drop in our laps.
Then there are days that seem quite the opposite. Life feels like an uphill struggle. Nothing seems to go right.
In both cases, we’re exactly who we are doing what we do. What’s up with the difference?
In life, things are variable and cyclical. We breath in, we breathe out. If we never exhaled, we’d be unable to inhale further. If we only experienced exhalation, we’d be worried about oxygen starvation. We need both experiences to physically exist.
On a greater level, life is much the same. We need expansion and contraction of our perspectives and possibilities in order to grown and learn.
Whatever phase of our lives we may be in, we’re blessed. Blessed by virtue of our divine interconnection with all Creation. Blessed by being alive and able to experience.
In the same way, everyone and everything is equally blessed. We’re all part of an interwoven divine, loving consciousness. There are no favored ones. Everyone is blessed and beloved.
Today’s message reminds me that I’m blessed no matter what is going on in my life at the moment. When I take deep breath and enumerate all the gifts of today, I realize just how blessed I am.
