We’re all essential.
I walked around my yard today, enjoying all the beautiful blooms. Each flower was different and lovely. Together they provided a parade of color and shapes.
If one weren’t there, I would miss it. The richness in the yard comes from the variety.
This is true of all life. The variation—in people, beings, plants, things, experiences—makes the tapestry of our existence finer and more satisfying. No one individual or thing is more important or valuable than another. All are essential in Creation.
Today’s message reminds me that anything or anyone in existence has a purpose, whether or not I understand what it is. When I trust in the wisdom of Creation, it’s easier to treat all with respect.
Please reflect and share. What or whom might you have overlooked with your appreciation?
