Anticipation’s effects can be positive or negative.
Please reflect and share. How does this play out in your life?
Anticipation is imagining the future in advance. We all engage in it whether as a conscious practice or a natural outflow of emotion. It’s merely a mental action, but how we perform it can either help or hinder us.
Happy anticipation—imagining and awaiting a positive occurrence—allows us to savor it in advance and helps attract it to us. Negative anticipation—worrying and fretting about a potential negative outcome—ensures we dread its possibility and also can attract it to us. The emotions we hold, whether conscious or not, determine the likely manifestation of our anticipation.
Today’s message reminds me to use anticipation wisely. What I imagine is what I tell creation I want, so discernment and positivity is advised. I bless myself by anticipating good things.
How about you? Do you use the power of anticipation for your benefit?
