Notes From The Awareness: 307

We are what we are willing to be.

Please discuss. How does this play out in life?

I’ll start us out. We all have a vision of the person we’d like to be. Unfortunately, our ideal usually doesn’t align with who we are here and now. Our perfect self has attributes, traits, talents, and behaviors we don’t currently possess.

When we make personal changes there are always things to let go of to become more who we want to be. If we want to be more physically fit, we may have to sacrifice some couch and social media time. A radical career change requires us to accept some risk and be willing to potentially fail. To grab onto what we want, we must let go of what’s holding us back.

Today’s message reminds me that a new outer me only can be supported by a revised inner self. I need to have a solid spiritual, physical, mental, and emotional structure in place to nurture an expansion of self. Reinforcing my personal foundation provides a firm basis from which to grow.

How about you? What inner shifts might support outer changes you’d like to make?
