Believe in benevolence
We seem, as a nation, to be steeped in polarity. Us versus them is a consistent theme. Many folks seem to feel that others are either for or against them.
It’s not pretty. The rhetoric is often divisive or even hateful. It may seem that the world is turning against itself.
While these events are occurring, they happen because of perspective. Our beliefs and our focus drive these uncomfortable occurrences.
We can choose differently. We can elect to believe in benevolence.
We are, each and every one of us, part of a divine whole. We’re all connected in conscious love. But we’re not likely to see evidence of this reality until we’re willing to trust it exists.
When we believe in love as the driving force of Creation, our perception of life can and will change. We can see the underlying benevolence of Creation and the specific benevolence of good individuals taking kind and respectful actions toward each other.
The more we are willing to notice and believe in the good, the more it will be evident in life. The more we take an active part in this benevolence, the stronger this force for good becomes in our lives.
Today’s message reminds me to focus on what is good and loving in life. When I believe in the general benevolence of existence, I will certainly experience it.
