Wisdom is everywhere.

We may tend to think of wisdom as coming from sages, religious figures, and thought leaders. And it is true, these folks often have deep thoughts to share. They can inspire us and offer us new ways of thinking.

But wisdom of the backyard variety is always present in life. From the mother bird patiently feeding her babies, to the unconditional love of our pet dog, to the kind gesture of someone who allows us to skip in front of them in the grocery store line, there are plenty of profound teachings in everyday life. We just need to be aware and willing to see the lessons.

Today’s message invites me to be grateful for the everyday varieties of wisdom. Creation is always willing to teach me how to be kinder, more loving, and happier.

Please reflect and share. What bit of everyday wisdom showed up for you today?
