We get what we give.
Finding a balance between giving and receiving is tricky for many of us. We may be overly generous or stingy, or both by turns. Opening our hearts to others can present a challenge. So can establishing healthy boundaries. We struggle to find that sweet spot where we are kind and generous but not a doormat.
Many of us also have a hard time being good to ourselves. We may find it easier to nurture others than to care for ourselves. Our priorities can end up coming last in a long mental list of to-dos.
Creation responds to our frequency. We get out of life what we put into it. When we share freely and joyfully, existence returns the favor to us, sharing life’s bounty readily with us. Demonstrating self-love, we indicate to the world at large how we wish to be treated. What we give to ourselves and to others is what is returned to us.
Today’s message reminds me that I’m always both giving and receiving. Life is about flow. By maintaining a healthy flow to myself and others, I set the pattern for how I wish to receive.
Please reflect and share. Do you feel you have a healthy balance between giving and receiving?
