We all have notable achievements—graduation from school, a load paid off, years of sobriety, a career advancement, a relationship anniversary, a birthday divisible by 5 or 10. These milestones arise from our efforts. We made these good things happen.
We enjoy praise from others for our accomplishments. It’s good to be recognized for our wins, but sometimes it doesn’t feel like enough. That’s because we may not be getting kudos from the person whose opinion matter most—us.
Today’s message advises me to make a conscious effort to acknowledge and savor my successes. My win today is 500 consecutive blog posts. The consistency feels right to me. I know regular introspection helps me stay level and even. I hope these posts offer value to you as well, gentle reader.
