Benevolent imagination
Imagination isn’t always encouraged in our society. Flights of fancy, daydreams, and wishful thinking are sometimes seen a weak and unfocused, as taking us away from the important work we should be doing instead.
In damping down our imagination, we do ourselves and the world a disservice. Imagination is a link to our subconscious, connecting us more directly to Creation. We separate ourselves more thoroughly from everything and everyone when we downplay our ability to dream.
We hamper our ability to co-create with the divine when we suppress our imagination. When we vividly visualize a desired outcome, through our subconscious we generate a template to be fulfilled by conscious love. The more completely and gratefully we imagine, the more effective we are.
When we combine our visualization with benevolence—toward ourselves, toward others, toward all of Creation—we consciously align ourselves with the divine, further enhancing the power of our imagination.
Today’s imagination invites me to regularly flex my mojo through benevolent imagination. When I bless other beings and things by wishing them well, I also bless myself.
Please reflect and share. Do you use your imagination as a power for good?
