NOTES FROM THE AWARENESS: 476

Stable means flexible.

Please reflect and share. How does this play out for you?

We may think of staying the same. In this view, life follows a known pattern and we have worked out a way to handle it fairly comfortably. If things around us shift significantly, we probably struggle to cope and adjust.

We can’t control events around us, but we can control what’s inside us—our beliefs, thoughts, and emotions. This is where we need to look to generate our stability. When we embody calm, humble, and curious self-certainty, we can deal with changes around us while remaining cool, collected and genuinely ourselves.

Today’s message suggest that I work on my core mental and emotional strength. With a solid core of emotional intelligence, I can stay stabile inside and true to myself while flexing my behavior in response to the world around me. I create my own safety from the inside out.

How about you? What does stability mean to you?
