Regeneration = remembrance of love.

At times, we may feel we’re out of alignment, personally. We may feel out of sorts, left behind by life, or adrift from the path we hoped to be following. We may feel in need of a mental, emotional, and/or spiritual makeover.
We likely feel dissatisfied with some or many aspects of our lives, and ultimately with ourselves. We may not like who we are or what we’re doing. We know we’re supposed to be happy and grateful for all we have, but that may seem like a stretch. Things may not measure up to our hopes and wishes.
If we’re honest with ourselves, at the bottom of all the dissatisfaction there probably is an essential belief that we’re not good enough or that we’re not doing something right. We may have the sense that if we were good, emotionally and spiritually healthy people, our lives would be better.
How can we get out of this funk, and learn to regenerate a sense of meaning, joy, and purpose in our lives? How can we gain the feeling that we’re exactly who we’re supposed to be, doing what we’re supposed to be doing. And how can we have more fun along the way?
At the center of our malaise is separation consciousness. This is the prevailing third-dimensional mindset—the idea that we are separate (and therefore isolated) from the divine, and from the rest of creation, too. It will lead us to believe that the world is a dangerous place filled with people and situations we cannot trust. We will experience fear, lack, resentment, dissatisfaction, and alienation in life, when we think and act in accordance with this mindset.
We cannot get out of the separation consciousness mindset on our own, but luckily we don’t have to. A splinter of divine, loving consciousness is housed in each of us, to help us remember the reality of divine interconnection. We have a built-in guide and teacher in our sharing within.
When we are willing to open to our sharing within, we can experience together with it. This conjoined perception will allow us to view our lives from connection consciousness—the awareness that we and everyone and everything that exist are divinely interconnected. The tie that connects us all is divine, loving consciousness: the sharing.
When we cooperatively experience with our sharing within, we will find it easier to appreciate life. The richness and beauty of our day-to-day lives will be more apparent to us. We’ll find it easier to enjoy what is happening in any given moment, and we’ll like ourselves more, as a result. We’ll learn that we and our lives are fun.
Sounds great, doesn’t it? How do we enlist? There is no initiation ritual and no membership fee. We just have to be willing to remember that we are love. If we are love and all creation is interconnected, then everyone and everything is love. There is nothing else to be.
It is easiest to remember this when we are consciously connected to our sharing within. We begin by closing our eyes and breathing gently and evenly, while focusing on our heart. We’ll visualize a golden light that shines there. The light grows stronger each time we inhale, and spreads out through and around us each time we exhale.
We’ll continue the soft, rhythmic breathing until we sense peace and sureness wash over us. This is our signal that we are in conscious connection with our sharing within. In this connected space, we experience ourselves and life as divine consciousness does.
We’ll ask our sharing within to show us clearly one thing that demonstrates that we love and are loved. Perhaps we enjoyed our favorite food recently. The sharing provided not only enough for us to eat, but also our favorite thing to eat. We savored the flavor, texture, and smell of our favorite food and took joy in the experience. In that moment, we both received (the favorite food) and projected (our enjoyment) love.
Now we’ll ask our sharing within to give us a way to remind ourselves of this truth, when we forget love and feel anxious, angry, or dissatisfied. Perhaps it will be something as simple as taking a deep breath and visualizing the golden light in our heart. Perhaps we’ll remember eating pizza. Whatever we’re given, we can trust that it is perfect for us.
Finally, we’ll thank our sharing within for helping us remember that universal love connects us to everyone and everything. This remembrance will help us find more beauty and joy and whatever life brings us. We’ll have more fun, and we’ll be more fun to be around, too.
