NOTES FROM THE AWARENESS: 855

What you choose is what matters to you.

We all have ideas of what’s important to us. We have beliefs about our values and what we’d like to experience in life.

Yet our choices don’t always support our presumed values. We make decisions based on other factors.

Others’ opinions, peer pressure, financial concerns, fear of failure, fear of success, putting others’ needs first, poor self-image, lack of energy or gumption—all these can affect our choices as much or more than our perceived values.

Today’s message reminds me that my choices show me clearly what matters to me most. If I don’t like my life circumstances, I may wish to review what I’m choosing and why.

Please reflect and share. What most often influences your choices?
