NOTES FROM THE AWARENESS: 514

Our purpose isn’t what we do. It’s how we do it.

We all want to feel our lives have meaning. We’d like to make a difference, to have our actions create a positive effect. Sometimes we feel we understand our personal talents and gifts and sometimes we’re at a loss about what we’re supposed to do.

We may struggle with this because we’re focused on the what and not the how. There likely are other folks doing pretty much what we do—other artists, musicians, parents, authors, office workers, healers, animal rescuers, warehouse workers. But none of them do exactly what we do. We’re unique and bring our own individual stamp to whatever we do.

Today’s message reminds me that my purpose is clear and simple. I just need to be myself and do whatever I do with joy and gusto. My reason to be is being the happiest, most free, loving version of my unique self.

How about you? How do you feel about your purpose?
