Notes From The Furlough: Day 30

What you envision is what you become.

Please discuss. How does this play out in life?

I’ll start us out. I had a vision of what I hoped retirement would be like: more time for reading and hobbies, more gardening and outdoor activity, more cooking, less mental stress. An lo, through COVID-19, life delivered all this to me. While I was diligently saving for retirement, I may not have put as much effort into visualizing financial stability and prosperity. Picturing ample retirement funding just didn’t seem as emotionally fulfilling to me.

Getting my feelings and subconscious mind engaged in experiencing in advance the reality of free time plus prosperity will make my visualization more effective. Emotion will help take my envisioning out of the realm of purely mental exercise and into the quantum field of possibilities. I’m having a nice appetizer of retirement in advance, and am confident that my actual retirement can be both fulfilling and prosperous. My corona staycation is showing me how I need to course adjust to get there.

How about you? Do you visualize, and if so, how might you tweak your technique to optimize the outcome?
