Consistent vision

Most of us would like a good now and an even better future. We also likely have the idea that we need to work steadily and hard to achieve what we want.

If we take our queue from nature—and we are part of nature—we’d see that nature is about ebb and flow. Just like the seasons in temperate climates, there are times of growth and times of rest.

This cycle of work and recovery is healthy and normal. If we exert ourselves all the time, we cannot offer our best effort.

Downtime also allows us to ponder and refine our plans. If we’re consistently pushing forward, we risk perhaps going in a less-than-optimal direction. We need, from time to time, to lift our heads, take a breath, and review.

While it’s not effective to always give maximum effort, it is extremely helpful to have consistent vision. When we know the end result we desire, but not necessarily all the steps we’ll take to get there, we can hold that image close in our hearts and love it. We keep our dream clearly and lovingly in mind but allow Creation flexibility to help us fulfill it.

No matter if we are working hard or taking downtime, we still can cherish our vision. The associated strong happy emotions will help fuel our efforts and draw us naturally closer to our desire.

Today’s message reminds me that keeping my vision consistent is a vital part of my happiness. When I appreciate the good things in my life right now and am confident that good things will always be with me, I set the stage for abundance and joy in my life.

Please reflect and share. What vision would you like to consistently hold in your heart?
