NOTES FROM THE AWARENESS: 674

Hold on where it matters.

Each of us has differing priorities. Based on our personal backgrounds, we have people and things that feel vital to us. We also have people and things that don’t seem as important.

For a variety of reasons—perhaps we have issues letting go or suffer with lack mentality—we may be reluctant to part with anything or anyone. And yet, the tending, storing and arranging of unneeded or unwanted stuff and the effort of cultivating and maintaining marginal relationships can wear us down. It also robs us of time to spend with whom and what we hold most dear.

Today’s message invites me to be a bit more discriminating in whom and what I hold onto. I place my energy and focus on whom and what I love.

Please reflect and share. Are you holding on where you might be better off letting go?
