Believe in the invisible.
We’re often told to put credence in what our senses detect. The assumption is that anything else is likely imaginary.
And yet… Many of us believe in the divine. The afterlife may be something we aspire to. We believe in wind, even though we only can see its effects. We organize our lives around the concept of time, although it is merely a construct. We believe in love, an emotion that doesn’t register through our senses.
What we believe really comes down to choice. That choice for each of us is highly individual and deeply personal. We get to select which invisible forces influence our lives.
Today’s message reminds me to keep faith with the non-tangible influences to which I give credence. My belief in the magical, the mystical, and the unknowable imbues my life with wonder.
