Failure is a hiccup
We all fail sometimes. We try something and it doesn’t work as we had hoped.
We may have given it our very best effort. But perhaps we were half-hearted in our attempts. Whichever way it was, we didn’t succeed as we hoped to.
This often causes us to feal discouraged and downhearted. Our depression can lead us to give up. We may feel so badly about the failure that we’re afraid to try again. We may not want to risk being disappointed in ourselves yet again.
In this, failure is like having the hiccups. It’s not a frequent nor a permanent occurrence. It only happens sometimes and is generally of short duration.
We can get ourselves out of the hiccup pattern. We simply need something to get our body back in synch with itself.
Similarly, we can get out of the failure pattern. When we get our dreams, beliefs, and efforts aligned, we’re far more likely to achieve success.
Today’s message reminds me that failure is a temporary state. I can always try again. If I keep a hopeful mindset and tweak my approach, it’s likely I’ll see different results.
Please reflect and share. How do you handle your failures?
