Take your wisdom where you find it.
We tend to think of role models and thought leaders as being famous. After all, if they’re famous and are widely followed, they must know what they’re talking about, right?
And sometimes this is true. Folks have gained renown for the sagacity of their thoughts and words.
But often wisdom is available from everyday sources. The friend of neighbor who says just the right words at the precise time you need to hear them. The pet who shows you how to enjoy life even when things feel difficult. The wild bird that demonstrates joy in simple everyday pleasures.
Today’s message suggests that the wisdom I need to see demonstrated is all around me. My life itself is my greatest teacher.
Please reflect and share. What everyday wisdom have you experienced today?
