NOTES FROM THE AWARENESS: 469

Beginning and ending are woven into everything.

Please reflect and share. How does this play out for you?

We tend to think of life as a process made up of a series of discrete sub processes. Each of these—our grade school years, our tenure at a particular job, the time we spent in a romantic relationship—we view as having a start, middle, and finish. We also see our whole lives in the same way, spans of years bracketed by birth and death.

In divine reality, everything exists in an eternal now. Each moment—as we think of things in terms of linear time—is both a beginning and an ending. To be in tune with this truth, we need to be willing to let go and open to receiving in every instant.

Today’s message reminds me that life is about flow. Without output and input, beginning and ending, inhalation and exhalation, I am stagnant and essentially lifeless in spirit. When I am ready to both release and embrace, I am free to experience the bounty of creation.

How about you? How do you relate to beginnings and endings?
