We increase our personal power by increasing our acceptance.
Please reflect and share. How does this play out for you?
We likely think of personal power as the ability to get or create what we want. It may seem, to us, to be about shaping the world and circumstances around us to our desire. This conception involves a certain amount of force in promoting our agenda.
Flexing our personal power in this way implies expending energy to break down any impediments to our goals. This approach puts limits on our mojo to create what we want by reducing our available energy. When we accept what is rather than fighting it head on, we can find ways to sidestep any barriers. In doing so, we have more power to achieve our dreams.
Today’s message reminds me not to waste my personal power on resistance. In accepting things as they currently are, I give myself a firm footing to begin changing myself. Alteration in me shifts the world around me naturally and without force. I have one hundred percent power over myself and no one and nothing else.
How about you? How do you build your personal power?
