Stability comes from flexibility.
Please reflect and share. How does this play out in your life?
We may equate stability to holding firm—to our beliefs, our habits, or our values. It may seem to us that being unwavering keeps us safe and strong.
Doing so can keep us fixed in our attitudes and responses. However, it also limits our strategies and actions to those we’ve used in the past. And these choices may or may not represent our most effective options.
Today’s message reminds me that staying in one place or mode of belief or action keeps me stuck. My real stability comes from my inner strength and connection to all creation, not from what I may or may not think or do. When I am flexible in my decisions and actions and strong in my loving connections, I am truly stable.
How about you? What relationship do flexibility and stability have for you?
