Notes From The Awareness: 335

Choice is our most valuable resource.

Please discuss. How does this play out in life?

I’ll start us out. We all feel stuck from time to time. We may be enmired in a situation in which we feel we have no real alternatives. While we may not care for the options we have, options always exist.

In the simplest terms, in any scenario we can choose to do nothing or choose to do something. If we choose to do something, we can decide what it is that we do. We also can select how we feel about the situation. By framing an attitude—positive, negative, or neutral—around the events, we dictate our resulting emotions. We get to choose how we respond and how we feel about it. This is know as free will consciousness, a gift threaded through the nature of our existence.

Today’s message reminds me to be grateful for the ability to make choices. It is the most precious aspect of my life. No matter what, I get to choose—what I believe, what I think, how I feel, and what I do or don’t do. I always have a choice.

How about you? How do you relate to your ability to choose?
