Only we can move ourselves forward

We all feel stuck from time to time. It may seem like we’re in a holding pattern, waiting for something or someone to help us move forward.

We may not know what to do, or if we have an inkling of what we need we may not understand how to accomplish it. We may do nothing and hope for rescue from an unseen power.

Unless we are willing to accept and even initiate some sort of change, it’s likely nothing will happen. If we’re firmly entrenched in the way things are and hoping for something else, it probably won’t occur.

Getting unstuck requires some sort of action on our part. No one will rescue us if we don’t want to be rescued. And if we’re not willing to make some effort, however small, to free ourselves, we may not want to be rescued.

Actions to take can be both internal and external. We need both to get ourselves unstuck.

We may examine and begin to alter our belief and thought patterns. Consistent visualization of our desired end result is also a good practice. Both will begin to send different messages to Creation, helping us manifest more of what we desire.

We can also get more physical exercise, set up a monthly budget, eat healthier foods mindfully, choose uplifting activities, or listen to others more considerately. The point is, we take actions that support who and how we want to be.

When we take ownership of our situation, we may then be surprised to find help from unseen forces beginning to back our play.

Today’s message reminds me that it all starts with me. When I’m willing to support myself through a desired shift in thought, word, and deed, I set energy in motion to enable the changes I want.

Please reflect and share. Do you ever hope someone will rescue you?
