Accountability
Accountability is a buzz word. We hear it in relation to job performance and personal relationships.
We may not think about it in terms of our relationship with ourselves. But, first and foremost, before anyone else, we need to be accountable to ourselves.
Are we acting in alignment with our beliefs? Do we nurture and care for ourselves as the most important person in our lives? (We are!) Do we make decisions and take steps to support our dreams and desires? Do we practice self-awareness to keep ourselves honest with ourselves?
Today’s message reminds me that the most important person to be accountable to is me. When I honor myself and the rest of Creation as divine instances of a unified conscious, loving whole, then I’m acting in integrity.
