Bring your best where it matters.
There is a common thought that we should be all-in with everything we do. It’s a lovely concept. The problem is that is usually isn’t feasible.
If we put in maximum effort into all our activities, we’d never get them all completed. Needless to say, we’d also be utterly exhausted.
So, if we want to make our efforts count, we need to be selective. Either we try to do it all, with most things at less than utmost energy investment, or we decide to do less things with greater personal commitment.
Today’s message invites me to be discerning. When I choose where my effort matters most to me, I’ll place my time and attention on what counts. Other things I can elect to skip doing or do with simply adequate effort.
Please reflect and share. How do you decide where to go all-in?
